Into Italy

A long and hot day over a big pass into Italy - see Walt on the signpost. We had a mini break overlooking the Mauvoisin lake where Walt communed with the eidelwiess. Picnic by a lake where some of us went for a swim. And then a long haul along amd up to a super convivial Italian hut - the contrast of nationalities between Switzerland and Italy is striking!
