Being here is so much more immersive than learning on-line - you can learn new words and re-inforce grammar points all over the campus.

Being here is also a varied experience - we played a game of "who am I ?", practiced new grammar structures, read poems, sang songs and read a Wikipedia article about the West Highland Free Press. All good fun and learning.

The day ended with a concert by Charles Mckerron from Session A9 and Capercaille and Marc Clement from Session A9 and other bands  - it seems to me that most traditional musicians come together in various combinations and incarnations. 

Charles Mckerron is teaching a fiddle course here this week and he displayed some very fine playing tonight. A great concert. Chord e rium.
