Small Change

We visited Hinderclay Fen today - it's part of an area which is being managed for nature conservation along the upper region of the Little Ouse river. There were various insects, some of them biting, and this fairly elderly Small Copper posed on the ground just ahead of us. It didn't result in such a beautiful image as the Brown Argus from a couple of days ago, but, when it offered itself, I couldn't refuse (and the dragonflies were all too fast & too far away!!).
