Ombre

It is a privilege to spend time outside in nature before my paid employment starts and WFH gives me even greater flexibility in organising my work day ; around 30 minutes that would be spent commuting can be used for other activity and I can delay or bring forwards a change of clothing to fit in with my schedule, staying in my running gear for the first part of my work day and changing into swimwear during my break in readiness for a late afternoon swim

The early morning light was lovely but it was warmer than I like it for my run. By the afternoon there were showers in the air and it was rather windy. I was blessed to be with Yvonne for my swim as she helped me navigate the steps into the river which were not visible understeer choppy water and filled me with trepidation.
