Remembering Hiroshima and Nagasaki
Comparisons between Hiroshima/Nagasaki and Gaza are not lost on this crowd gathered for a memorial today.
A Memorial
by William Stafford
At Nagasaki they have built a little room
dark and soundproof where you can
go in all alone and close the door and cry.
William Stafford’s son Kim was one of the speakers. A few extras show the size of the gathering and the energy of those present, friends who often turn out to protest systemic violence of any kind.
