upgrade

Turns out you can 'bid' for an upgrade on the train! I did this so travelled in splendour, whole table to myself and free tea and biscuits, between York and London. R had made a big cooked breakfast for all of us, so further sustenance unnecessary. Once home it was all the busy stuff; wash on, dinner to make, Olympics to watch. But nice....
I've not been properly watching the news the last couple of days, so I did become aware of the full horror of what's been going on.
