Rufus
A quiet day indoors not feeling very well - combo of too much sun and sea yesterday on the boat trip and eating too late but mostly I suspect, worrying about today's trip to the vet for Rufus.
We went in to Didim early afternoon - pet shop for supplies and then the vet where I almost cried when Alper (the vet) said that Rufus appears to be on the mend, that his very damaged tail is slowly healing. A dose of antibiotics via injection and we were off (much to Rufus' relief!) - we go back on Friday to monitor. Not out of the woods yet, but it is looking hopeful when compared to last Thursday. The relief was sufficient for us to decide (as if we need a reason) that this good news warranted celebration. So, after depositing purchases at home, we three walked to the sea front for cold beer and early dinner at Pasa (and a bowl of water and treats for the woofer) and then a gentle stroll along the boardwalk to the tat souvenir stalls where Robin bought small gifts for her students and colleagues in Baku.
Back home around sunset, we watched "Wicked Little Letters' (2023).
Oddly entertaining.
