I know where my towel is...

Amidst the chaos and mud of construction there's still the washing to be done, and the rainbow coloured bath towel hangs behind this bee approaching the lavender in the front garden. 

Obviously staying close to home again today, and the early morning rain has given a bit of additional challenge to the groundworks which is progressing in the rear.

They're down to the clay layer now, and Janet is no longer bewailing the loss of tonnes of really fine quality topsoil... we saved what we had space to save, but in truth someone's going to enjoy that fertile worm filled earth...
