No Passage Landward

A cooler, windier, wetter day (aka return to normal North Wales weather) today. We had booked a boat trip to the South Easterly tip of Anglesey but because of Elinor’s lingering food misadventure, only three of us went. The Trwyn Du lighthouse has guided ships away from the treacherous rocks here since the wrecking of the Rothsay Castle almost 200 yrs ago. Disappointingly, we saw no Puffins on Puffin Island - is it by any chance misnamed?
