Off the Big Hill!

Took the day to myself and drove up to Sydney, first stop Value Village~Tuesdays is seniors day so 30% off!!!   Found some great stuff for cabins, towels, comforter, pillowcases etc., then some lovely bling for me :)  Such fun!

Then i headed further up the island to Dominion Beach, and with  lunch in my bag, book and chair, i settled down for a couple of hours with the waves....perfect!   This is the old coal plant - hasn't been operating since the early 90's, but you can still find traces of coal dust on the beach, it actually makes very beautiful designs.  see extra for the other side of my view!!!

Funny how just a few hours away from all that has been going on here at Big Hill just got me sorted.....came home and relaxed, then Jack and I prepared dinner.  Jack is very delightful and easy to have live with us...he's also a great cook !
