Shadows

Digital group today.  We looked at  How to Make most REALISTIC SHADOWS in Photoshop, 3 simple steps.  A very good tutorial by Colin Smith.

I took photos of my little cube of wood that I painted in California and brought back and used those.  Made drop shadows and put those onto their own layer.  Manipulated them and added a light source.  Very difficult to know exactly where a shadow is going to go and how intense it will be!  As Geof says - it's abstract!!!!

Voilà!  Great fun!
