Well, what a day!  This morning I completed a job for a colleague with very little problems...and this afternoon I was told they are so impressed with my work, and how fast I've been learning, that they wanted me to  start work tomorrow on Reception and take over from someone leaving at the end of the month.  They have recruited but obviously these people will need to be vetted before starting (like me)...so at the moment I'm being flexible and filling a gap....

Its fine, but I just feel so exhausted having not been there long and had all the training to do, with no chance to - settle properly into my job - and start working from home (which I forgot to ask about in that meeting!)

(honestly I thought I was going to be told there wasn't enough work for me and I had to go - I'm so used to that in the past!!)

Now to do some ironing (a rapid rethink on my outfits for the rest of the week) and then have an early night I hope!
