Eyes

I was in Kirkcudbright today to hear a talk and see the exhibition of work by the Scottish artist Sir Henry Raeburn (1756 - 1823) in the Kirkcudbright Galleries.  I think some people would say they are just traditional portraits of people long gone.  He made it all look easy though, it takes a special talent and hard work to paint like this.
