Channelling Cliff!

It was a morning of major cleaning ahead of the arrival of the Oxford family at the weekend.

After lunch, I walked up to the next village for afternoon tea at the Methodist Church (no Prosecco then!).  Hobbler Rickie invited WilsdenWalker and I to come along to this WI fundraiser for the Yorkshire Air Ambulance and we were very happy to support this excellent cause.  The afternoon was managed by the versatile chap at the centre of my blip, together with his wife and her sister who were busy in the kitchen preparing the food when we arrived.  Before our tea, he demonstrated how to make microwave chocolate truffles whilst entertaining us with stories and jokes, occasionally at the expense of the audience.  Whilst the truffles set, we enjoyed our sandwiches , scones and tea, then once the empty plates were cleared away, the raffle was conducted and then our chocolatier came out in his sparkly jacket and entertained us further with a medley of songs.  In my blip he is channelling Cliff Richard with a comedic take off of Cliff's dance moves.

Afterwards I walked home and just had time for a cuppa before I had to get changed and head out for Pilates.

Apparently the event raised several hundred pounds for the Air Ambulance.
