Farewell

Time to cut down the plum tree, after more than 35 years it is dying but in that time we must have had 300+kg of fruit from it, as well as the joy of seeing the blossom. It will be replaced in a different area of the garden and this bit will be incorporated into the veg patch.
I went into the garden fairly early as the forecast was for showers, as it was we only had one of any significance which was just after I'd come in. Mr Rat helped with the tree and son will come with his chainsaw to do the rest, I got rid of a fair bit of rubbish.
Ironing, knitting and Olympic watching, plus a good run with the group in the sunshine - though it was pretty windy in places.
