Michaelmas daisy
I took this photo in our garden, early this morning, before we went in to town to help at a Winchester GoLD Games and Picnic event.
Although I do like Michaelmas daisies, they always make me feel wistful because their flowering signifies it's already late summer.
The event was well attended and everyone (learning disabled members and the staff and volunteers) seemed to enjoy it. First of all, two members from a musical theatre group led an activity about magic and films. After a picnic lunch some of us went for a walk around the local Winnall Moors nature reserve.
