New Sourdough Bread

So, our sourdough starter died. That’s a first world problem if ever I’ve heard one.

It turned into a grey, slippery, sludge and needed replacing.

A week later, after feeding, disguarding, more feeding, stirring and generally ‘faffing’ about, a new starter emerged all frothy and lovely.

This is the first loaf with the new starter and although it’s not the most attractive loaf, it looks like sourdough and tastes like sourdough. Onward and upward!!!
