Surprise bloom

The deer had been nibbling on the passionflower vines so I did not think I would get any more blooms but with all the rain the vines have started budding again.

Now to keep the deer out.

Jerry had his 2 week follow up for his heel surgery. Stitches are out but because of the major cutting and sewing back of the Achilles tendon he has to wear a boot for 6 weeks!!!! And no weight bearing on it. Someone is not happy! We thought it would be only 4 weeks. At least he can take the boot off when he is sitting in his chair and when sleeping. It is going to he a long six weeks.

We were fortunate that Storm Debby was not awful in our area but the coastal areas of South Carolina had massive rain and flooding. Sunshine here today but I think it may rain all day tomorrow as the raining storm comes by. The rain has really made my yard happy.
