Protest
It’s been many months since I was able to attend and I was glad I did.
I then had a nice walk up to Piccadilly where I stopped at Redemption Roasters on Piccadilly for cake. Sat in the courtyard of the Wren Church. I then wandered up to Burlington Arcade where some of the shop fronts had lovely paintings of London scenes. I window shopped Azza Fahmy - an iconic Egyptian jewellery designer. I decided to go in and take a look. The staff were from Egypt, in fact, we discovered, I knew the mother of one of them! She worked for my former employer, running the very successful arts program. She later messaged. It was a lovely chat with her son and his colleague. I kept walking, did some shopping and went home. Two days of 20,000 steps, tired and sore!
Watched Netflix, then bed!
