It is white tailed black cocky season and the skies are heaving with noisy flocks and tree tops, top heavy with these equally big and heavy birds.
Lots of gymnastics going on as they land their big bodies on swaying tree tops looking for fresh, green, succulent gum nuts.
These they then drop into the undergrowth or onto bush paths where they have ankle spraining potential for those peering up into the trees for a better blip!
