Uncovered

For some weeks I have driven past this large carving, not knowing what it is. It was hidden under waterproof wraps. A few bits had become uncovered; enough to see the colour.
Today, on my way home from work I saw that it is fully uncovered. Un-named. I don't know if it is welcoming drivers to the west. Or perhaps orientated to the path on which pedestrians and anxious cyclists share space.
