Garrynamonie beach, South Uist
It was a very windy day with heavy showers today - all of had more indoor time than usual. N was in creative mode making a mosaic with seaglass and pieces of pottery , I spent some time experimenting with watercolours and exploring my photos and J has been reading a lot. My 14 year old grandson spends a lot of time growing :) , eating , playing football game online with his friends . In the evening John went fishing at the loch in front of the house and we went out for a wee run to this lovely beach and up on to the hill with out binoculars exploring the wildlife.
Special moments seeing two male hen harriers a curlew and also many dancing ring plovers on the shore. Such lovely wee birds !
Unexpected profusion of corn marigolds at the shore. A lovely splash of colour by the shore.
We played a card game called Exploding Kittens (!) and watched a Harry Potter film until long after our bedtime ! So nice to have time with the family.
I will catch up with some back blips later today.
