Pleasures to come.
We inherited three apple trees when we moved to this house.
This one is an “eater” with a very large crop. Variety unknown.
The other two are Bramleys, also large, probably planted 50 years ago. We have also planted two cordon trees.
The apples are peeled, cooked and frozen to be used at breakfast with cereals throughout the winter.
It is a lot of work but worth the effort.
