Prince George

Not sure what happened to the lovely day that was forecast! Think it went on holiday!

Undaunted we set off for a wander early afternoon .... hadn't got far when we felt a few spots of rain but no more followed so we carried on.

Went up onto the river bank & for the first time in ages saw a Cormorant diving for dinner! Too far off to manage to get a photo though.

We also saw the Prince George heading up river ..... thought it completed the photo well :-)

This is one of the vessels that run boat trips up the river & back.

It was rather blustery & chilly so we headed homewards & almost made it before it started raining ... thankfully we only got a little damp!
