Rowan berries and Rory

earlier this morning.  Rory was looking into the distance and just turned when I snapped.  A girlie get together this morning and the day stayed dry to allow strimming this afternoon. I am cutting back the long grass, sadly once finished I spotted a peacock butterfly moving just below the cut area. I can only think it was resting in the grass until the weather improved. I checked later to find it had disappeared, the strimmer didn’t catch it, perhaps it delved deeper.  It started to rain after an hour out there, it felt quite pleasant walking in the gentle rain.

Rory scars are healing well, you can see the shaved area on his head and paw.

The Rowan tree is massive and covered in berries, John will trim a few branches later on to lighten its load.  The camera didn’t pick up the beautiful bright, orange berries.
