Films Not Dead
For todays Blip I did something very different, I used an Olympus Trip 35 film camera loaded with Kodak 400 ISO Black & White film. The film was developed and then scanned to disk by Snappy Snap in Covent Garden.
Why you may ask?
Well this photograph is of Charlie Abbiss who is one of the people behind the Films Not Dead project. This concept, and team behind it, are committed to keeping film alive in this digital age so it seemed only right that I captured this portrait with film as well.
They set up shop in the Backyard market, Brick Lane, every Sunday where this picture was taken. They also have a shop and print-room in Mount Pleasant, WC1.
