Prisoner

A visit to Clough Williams-Ellis' architectural masterpiece/folly of Port Meirion on the Dwyryd estuary took most of the day today.
Lots of Hydrangeas!
Despite my reservations, I have to admit that it is very pretty and must acknowledge the vision and tenacity that led to its completion. It was, of course, the setting for the Village in the 1960s cult classic 'The Prisoner'.
