Walking in Blanes

Feeling more myself today again, thank goodness.

We had breakfast and then covered ourselves in high protection cream and went for a walk in the shade in the ‘back streets’ of the hotel. We always like to walk around the campsites and wandered around a big one today. See the pool area in the collage - too busy for us, but we do like to inspect and consider everything!

We ended up in The Shack and shared a bowl of chilli and played some Yahtzee - Bb had a double Yahtzee, but we’re still equal. The signage shot is from our table.

Back to hotel and a wee read and siesta.

Out for a walk into the old town in the evening - see Bb and a view of ‘the rock’ which signifies the start of the Costa Brava.

We’ve just shared a tostada with anchovies and one of manchego cheese on the terrace of Veracruz, a local place we found on this stay and just a few minutes walk from our hotel.

Managed to get 10,000 very slow steps.
