Got a lift into town and picked up Max. Then lift to Edinburgh airport. We avoided the drop of fees by walking 10 minutes. We had plenty time. Edinburgh airport is extremely busy and perhaps a reflection of the city itself: crowded, full of stuff nobody needs and expensive. The flights were straight forward. I enjoyed seeing the wind farm off the coast of the Netherlands (1st extra) and absolutely loved seeing the Spree meanders (2nd extra). We got home, found the extra keys in the letter box, unpacked and picked up pizza for dinner. We had a great time in Scotland. It was lovely to see our friends and family and we enjoyed wandering familiar places. Time to relax a little before work starts again next week.
