Marcus
Work became better in the later part of the day, when I solved a bug - with just an insertion of [:-1], which I over looked from the start. I had a chat with my manager this morning, and he said he'd receiveved an email asking if my job was still in the skill shortage. I felt a bit of worry, as if he meant that my circumstances had been changed. I asked him again, and he said "you are solid, don't worry". I felt worried.
Later, I went into the office during break time and bumped into first my regular office colleague who I sit next to and then Murray. My regular office colleague, was pleased that I didn't sit next to her since I am so talkative sometimes. Murray and I discussed work, colleague T who is leaving, and he said something very funny while talking to colleague T that " one the reasons colleague C is now bald is because of creating a data pipeline". Funniest thing I had heard. I left at 16:20 for return home. I had a quick dinner then met Marcus at Starbucks at Fountain Park. He had a lot of questions about me. He is one of the guys whom, I met at the last buddism meeting. He is only 20, but certainly very knowledgeable for his age. We then left for Liam's home for the actual meeting midst of rain and bus delays. Chanting was good. Marcus lended some of his Malaysian experience. He's cleary well bought up, shows in his nature. I returned home to my mice.
