Bavaria Park

Local park day, today ...

... very near the flat we're staying in, is a small park called (rather appropriately) 'Bavaria Park'. We spent quite a bit of time there this afternoon.

This huge statue overlooks the adjoining area (where the October Beerfest is held each year) - and you can actually climb up inside, all the way to a small viewing platform inside her head! I kid you not :-)

Fantastic views, all the way to the Alps.
