welcoming ceremony

today, we had the welcoming ceremonies for the 1st graders. it was a bit late into the school year but who am i to judge.

it was interesting. everyone cheered for the 1st graders when they walk into the auditorium. then the 2nd graders lined up next to the 1st graders and give them a crown. then we played games where you have to make groups, and each group must have at least one person from each grade level.

they really want the kids to intermingle. we had none of that back home. haha.
