Purple Heart

Tradescandia pallida - I got this from my phone- it identifies plants. I have to take their word for it.
Yesterday in the afternoon in broad daylight I saw (behind the sliding glass door) a big mama skunk and her two big offsprings  behind her walking across the lawn. I was so nervous that I could not find the camera setting in the phone etc. and then got out of the house and I went looking for them. That was risky because they can spray up to 14 feet, I learned that later after I came back into the house. I saw the end of a tail sticking out under a concrete slap. This is close to my compost pile. For the time being I am avoiding the garden but not this morning when I got out early to get this shot for Flower Friday. We risk everything for that.
