…..the second step in the production of Redcurrant and Chilli Jam. This bit is a little tedious but ‘fortunately’ I’d tweaked my back earlier doing some twisty lifting stuff, and it gave me an excuse to sit down for a while.

Unofficial scout leaders meeting tonight. This is unofficial because it involves drinking beer as much as it involves discussing scout business. Cross Border Brewery at Eskbank is the favoured venue as it permits out-of-towners like me to use public transport. In my case, I’m on the train so anything could happen!! Report to follow.
