Convenience shopping

Even after 5 years of city living it’s still a novelty to be able to get to a decent shopping centre in less than 10 minutes. All I needed was a few bits and pieces for a picnic tomorrow and to stock up on frozen vegetables. This inflatable flamingo caught my eye, as did a packet of Colin the Caterpillar biscuits.

Earlier I’d had a very healthy lunch with P who is on the Weight Watchers programme, she brought her own fat free Kefir. Since I’m aiming to do the opposite I stuck to my 10% fat Greek yoghurt. It was good to catch up and I was delighted to find P has a connection with Maggi Dawn the theologian who wrote The Accidental Pilgrim.
