Melford Hall

This little octagonal building in the grounds of the National Trust’s Melford Hall near Sudbury is called the Banqueting House, used to entertain the owner’s guests in the mid 18th century. We also went to Kentwell Hall just up the road, a similar building but very different experience in that it is privately owned and tells a personal story of how the owner renovated and furnished the building.
