I went to Stef’s for lunch today and this is the view from her back garden! The steam railway runs right outside the fence!
It was lovely to catch up, and her new house is gorgeous, with this view at the back and beach and sea at the front. The sun was shining and the wind was blowing a gale, but it was warm and we sat outside. I am soooooo sun burnt,!

In other happenings, my gas pipes were replaced quickly, but Alf’ has had his whole drive from front to back dug up. His house was the first in the street, in fact it wasn’t a street back in the 1950s, just a dirt track with a dairy opposite. All his pipes were original, and deep! 

 I also had my nails done, and listed the garden table and benches for sale. Someone moving locally next weekend wants them, so I will be on the hunt soon for something more suitable, or I may even leave it until next spring.
