Robin Hood's Bay
A lovely day with warm sunshine, family, and a steep walk down to the beach. The Blip is from the top of the village, and is focused on the S shaped features on the beach (just beyond the roof tops). At first glance they could be ploughed fields.
The beach is a wave cut platform, this is where the softer rock has been eroded leaving the harder rock. On this harder rock are these S shapes. I don't know why they are there, but I noticed them.
The rest of the shot includes a lovely view, and in the foreground is the Fish Box, where we hope to have F&C for lunch tomorrow.
My extra is from the campsite and simply shows the wavy edge of the clouds as they move in across the blue sky.
