John and Simon visited Linlithgow Palace and Cambuskenneth Abbey today.

The wind was awful…. so blustery and the plants in the garden are blown to bits. Has “Summer “ gone? Did it ever arrive?

All the family here tomorrow night for a get together before Simon leaves on Tuesday. We are certainly going to miss him. He is great company and wonderful raconteur!
