Rockin' Weekend

This is a back blip from Saturday night. Jeff and I got crazy and flew to Colorado for a one night concert. See JeffJeff. We were probably the oldest of around 8,000 younger people. Red Rocks is in the mountains of Colorado and the twinkling lights of Denver are below. It is a natural amphitheater with fantastic red rock formation, opened to the starry sky.

Jeff and I lived in Denver exactly 40 years ago before we moved to Minnesota then got married. Being at the concert made us feel young again. Brandi Carlisle is a fantastic performer with a tremendous voice. She does mostly alternative country and folk rock.
She also has a great message in her songs. It was really a fun weekend.
