The Sparks are Flying

Not because I'm grumpy in the heat but because my neighbour is having a new kitchen and knocking two rooms into one in the process, this is the supporting lintel being cut to the right length. Most of the work is being carried out inside the house but I got treated to this firework display out of the front window on her driveway and I couldn't resist clicking away through the blinds - Spishy style ;-))

It's still too hot for me and I've been hiding away inside the house today in an effort to keep cool. I'm not really complaining but I would prefer it a few degrees lower :-)
