Pink Hydrangea close up.
The Feast Day of Saint Lawrence, deacon and Martyr.
I am always grateful for rain. The water butt was empty and now, after a morning's worth of heavy loud rain showers, when I check the water in the water butt, I hope it is useful again. I try not to be miserable in cold, rainy weather. There is plenty to do in our house. We don't need heating on. The living room is 20c. The sun tries to shine now and then.
The garden benefits from the rain and the cats are sleeping indoors. We are thankful for an idea that came to us regarding putting a cat flap in the garden shed. The cats sometimes decide to remain outdoors for the night, so if it rained while we have locked the house up for the night-time, they could shelter in the garden shed. Much needs to be done to tidy the shed first and to make it cat friendly and safe.
I hope you have a lovely Saturday and thank you for visiting my site today blip friends.
