Im and I went to Margate: we collected an armchair that she'd found on eBay, then went down to the seafront to find a good spot to support the Margate Pride parade.
I'd not been to a Pride event before, and found it utterly joyful, good-humoured, and life-affirming; the antithesis of the grim gatherings of recent times...
