My human is a bad Blipper & a play with Luna

Firstly, can we say a massive thank you to everyone who visited my 5000th BLIP yesterday. Unfortunately my human was mega busy, so didn't have time to help me write much on my 5000th Blip, but we really appreciate all of you who take time out of your day to follow our adventures.

When my human posted her very first BLIP on 2nd December 2010, never in her wildest dreams did she think she would still be Blipping almost 13 years later. TBH, she never actually thought about it. My human has never, ever had a life plan...................

5000 BLIPS ago, her boss at the time, Barry (Squiffy by the Sea) kept posting photos online which he linked to his FB page. …..........And then one drunken night, back in 2010, my human thought............. I can do that. 
….................. And so her BLIP journey began.

My human never planned to write BLIPS from a dogs point of view. It just somehow happened. My predecessor, 'MollyCollie', gained a massive BLIP following and when she passed away on 13/01/2019 my human was distraught.

She always knew that she wanted another dog, but she remembers sitting with friends saying; 'I'm never, ever, going to get another Collie because I won't beable to love another Collie as much as I loved Molly. And I'm not going to get a puppy because they are too much like hard work.

…......................A month later she got me.................................. A Collie puppy!!!.................... Ann truly believes it was fate.

I was found in a hedge and the rescue centre that took me in, knew that I was the puppy for Ann. Ann had jetted off to Lanzarote for a holiday in the sun, to get over the grief of losing MollyCollie, and when she came back, she went straight to the Rescue centre to adopt me.

We've been inseparable ever since.

…..................And as for BLIP............................ my human is a very BAD Blipper these days.

Back in the day, when one couldn't take photos on a phone, and had to use a camera and then upload images to a computer................... my human used to spend half an hour every morning, before she went to work, looking at BLIP.

Now she just uses BLIP as a diary of her life and she doesn't interact much with other Blippers. She feels a bit guilty about this, because some of you lovely Blippers have been following her from the beginning, but hey ho, life moves on. She may not comment on your Blips, but she does dip in and out of them from time to time and she still thinks that BLIP is one of the nicest online communtities that she's ever come across.

…...............Moving swiftly on........................ One of the reasons why Ann couldn't help me much with my 5000th Blip yesterday, was because she went to a friend's for cocktails before going out for dinner last night. She left her car overnight and then this afternoon (after I'd had an hour's morning walk and she'd been on her feet for a 5 hr shift at work), we walked 45 mins to pick the car up. No wonder she's always tired?!!

Anyway, her friend's own Luna, the 'gorgeous Golden Retriever' and she has the most fantastic garden ever. It's fully enclosed and she has little bowls of water dotted around the place. I am so, so, jealous. I would LOVE a garden like this. Mmmmmm........... Ann loves the garden, but she is far too lazy to beable to cope with the upkeep of a garden like this. She says it's hard enough looking after the pots on our sun terrace. Lol!
I had a play with Luna, in her fabulous garden, and then when I came home I gobbled up all my dinner and am chillaxing on the sun terrace now.
…..................I may not have a massive garden, but I don't have a bad life do I?!!

As for BLIP............................ We love you all BLIPPERS. xxx
