Walking Day

A long days walking setting off from Waverley on the 9.15am to Galashiels. We set off from here walking through a variety of landscapes, as we made our way to Tweedbank along The Southern Upland Way.
The route took us through woodlands, grasslands, alongside The River Tweed, arable crops and beside the railway line.  So a walk with everything and the sun shone all day!
There was a trip to a micro brewery, before returning to Edinburgh full of its festival goers.
