Tethered

A clever orb-weaving spider has sited its web right next to a tall bushy ragwort plant which attracts lots of insects. (Not as many as is usual this year.) The spider has anchored/tethered its web with strands of gossamer attached to a couple of tall grass stems. They were catching the evening light nicely.
