Chaos ....

.... ensued in the sheep ring at Ardara Show today, when it was time for the young handlers. The 1st challenge was moving each sheep from the pens ( a headcollar was only used by one) into the show ring & pairing them up with the respective handler. We had a good laugh, as lots of the sheep weren't co-operating. How there wasn't a few injured handlers, I will never know. They all had to turn their sheep to face the opposite direction before judging was completed. There were a few runaways (see extra)
It was good to see them encouraging the kids, free entry, enter on day & whether they were placed 1st to 5th or not, they all received a rosette. It was great entertainment for the audience. The winner had gone splat at the start, when his ewe raced forward.
