On the Bus

One of the exhibits in the Travellinggallery, parked yesterday behind Leith library and taking part in this year’s (20th) Art Festival. There are a few venues in Leith and we nipped into four of them as we wandered around, having met up with N&G at Mote 21 to start things off. Of the lot, the Travellinggallery was my favourite with half a dozen artists contributing to their really interesting project on Community Ownership in Scotland. But if you like photos of a naked guy standing on his head in front of some fabulous Scottish landscapes then Matthew Hyndman’s exhibition is the one to see! Bizarrely, I liked it!
We rounded off our wee outing by scoffing Polish schnitzels at The Persevere and where we bumped into an old neighbour we hadn’t seen for a while. Chatted away until she had to head off to a Fringe show - that’s Edinburgh in August.
