Peregrine country.

This old quarry turned into a Nature Reserve is the home of our nearest Peregrine Falcon. It nests high up on the quarry face.

It was there this morning but it declined to cry out for my Merlin birdsong recorder. Never mind, I will be back for another try.

Our walk was early before the heat builds up. 24C is forecast which for us is quite hot but in the south of England it is forecast to be over 30.
