Waiting For Waves

It has been a spectacularly beautiful day today after a couple of cloudy days. Good news for the many visitors who are here on holiday. Everyone was making the most of the nice weather, filling Playa La Ropa even as the sun went down this evening. Children are rarely bothered by the weather, playing in the water no matter what the sky is up to. These four were no exception, the half hour I sat watching the parade of people walking the beach, they never left the ocean, continually flopping down in the sea as waves came in and popping up once they had passed. I liked the monochrome look of this shot, even though it is in full color, and the way their life preservers almost glowed in comparison to their surroundings.
